Responsible to lead, manage, and provide technical direction to product development engineering team and maintenance team. Leads the technical effort, defines long-term engineering plans, and ensures program objectives and contractual requirements or customer expectations are met, including required scope, cost and schedule constraints. Evaluates capital equipment investments and prepare cost justifications. Manage the overall implementations of capital equipment projects. Standardize manufacturing methods. Evaluates, recommends and implements changes to current manufacturing processes by analyzing production, labor standards, and material cost, reviewing production schedules, and estimating future requirements. Implement new methods for higher productivity. Analyses and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Assure process control and reliability for broad areas of manufacturing that may include supplier base as appropriate. Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, equipment layout and establishing and implementing design for manufacture and assembly plans. Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering or Technology field 7-10 years of related experience required. Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
