25 an hour Reporting to the team leader of Aging, Health and Wellness and the local Friar leader of Blessed Giles Friary, you will be providing care for Franciscan friars ensuring their well-being, comfort, and healthcare needs are met with compassion and dedication.

Responsibilities:
Assist with the activities of daily living (ADLs) for patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
Provide assistance with mobility and transfers for patients with varying levels of independence.
Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by maintaining hygiene standards in patient rooms.
Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to provide quality patient care.
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
Assist in the implementation of care plans and rehabilitation programs.
Foster a supportive and compassionate atmosphere for patients and their families.
Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe healthcare environment.
Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
About you:
High school diploma or equivalent coupled with 2
years experience with patient care/support with preference for geriatric care exposure.
Exhibits a genuine passion for patient care, showing empathy, and fostering a compassionate environment that promotes the well-being and dignity of each resident.
Focus on patient-centered care and uses collaborative approach with patients.
Demonstrated proficiency in providing basic nursing care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), vital sign monitoring, and maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
Exhibits a strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability in fulfilling assigned duties, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program is a plus but not required.
