These positions are responsible for managing juror refreshments on trial days, checking in jurors upon arrival, introduction/welcome and play juror orientation video, overseeing jurors, escorting them to and from the courtroom, to the jury room for deliberation, and conveying juror questions to the judge, should any arise.
Jury trial days can last anywhere from a few hours to a full day, and occasionally may even extend into the evening, so flexibility is required to work as long as needed on any given day.
Jury bailiffs are required to report to the courthouse by 7:
30 a.
m.
on scheduled trial These are temporary/on call positions, working as needed by the Courts with no guarantee of hours and are not benefit eligible.
Compensation is currently $15.
00/hour, with a 4-hour minimum, and if applicable, overtime for over 40 hours worked in one week.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
