As a Production Technician you will:
- Operate transfer presses, lathe machines or loading machines while completing tasks according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Production Technician will use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and plug gauges
- Maintain cleanliness in and around area including debris, scrap, and plug gauges
- Production Technician will perform mechanical adjustments and preventative maintenance as needed.
- Troubleshoot deficiencies or malfunctions to determine causes of nonconforming part production.
Required qualifications for a Production Technician:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have strong mechanical ability to be a successful Production Technician.
- Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
- Must demonstrate safe work practices, work with limited supervision and communicate with coworkers, managers and other departments.
- Maintain poise and respond in a professional and respectful manner to all situations.
