This is one exceptional Viper.
It is a 2008 ACR Hardcore Package with only 2,500 miles.
The ACR package alone is quite rare with only 179 built that year (50 in black).
But only a few of those received the additional Hardcore treatment with deleted sound system, trunk carpeting, and more.
Rare indeed.
And while you might think of a regular Viper as a race car for the street, this one removes all doubt.
This example was originally a Canadian car that came to the United States in 2018 and has a clean Wisconsin title.
It looks absolutely wicked with its black paint and single red stripe; nothing subtle going on here.
The ACR package further augments this with functional carbon fiber aero pieces.
The front canards, splitter, and huge rear spoiler help generate 1,000 pounds of downforce at 150 mph.
The ACR package also includes lightweight Sidewinder wheels wearing plenty of rubber (295 front, 345 rear).
Under the hood is a monstrous 8.
4L V10 producing 600 hp and 560 lb-ft.
This is coupled to a Tremec TR-6060 6-speed manual transmission and a rear end with 3.
07 gears.
The side exhaust makes an incredible sound at speed too.
Straight-line performance is outstanding with a low 11-second quarter mile and a top speed beyond 200 mph.
While that is great by itself, the real thrill of the ACR is its handling.
It uses adjustable KW Suspensions coilovers front and rear along with an upgraded front stabilizer bar.
The brakes use 14 slotted two-piece rotors from StopTech.
This car will easily exceed 1.
0g on the skidpad and stop from 60 mph in less than 100 feet.
The interior is pure Viper, meaning it is strictly business.
You will not find cruise control or power seats.
And with the Hardcore package you will not even find a radio, with all related cutouts occupied by carbon fiber covers.
Even the trunk carpeting and sound insulation is deleted.
Despite what some sources say, though, the Hardcore package does retain air conditioning.
The layout of controls and instruments is very clean and straightforward.
The black sport seats with grey suede inserts hold you low and firm, while the tilt column and adjustable pedals ensure anyone can drive safely.
As a black 2008 ACR Hardcore this is one of maybe 2-3 such Vipers in the world.
With only 2,500 miles it becomes even more exceptional.
Not to mention everything that happens after you press the ENGINE START button.
